@Fintreker @Ridgerunner_86 @Rainmaker1973 Those were only $8k (most likely)!

@VoriesCraft @6000xSUX @stevencheng If I correctly understood your statement, you’re saying it doesn’t cover space right above the antenna. In that case you’re talking about solid angles. What I’m saying is that the radar can cover full 360deg of azimuth, but not the full hemisphere (2pi steradians)

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@GlobaltrekX @gunsnrosesgirl3 That’s usually because you can only feel acceleration 🙂

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@AtomicHustle @KronosEther @DudespostingWs This is something I always wondered. I understand earthquakes resistance is desirable, however strong life threatening earthquakes are not nearly as frequent as wildfires (at least in CA), which are a seasonal occurrence.

@dieworkwear I agree with most of your suggestions, but I like Windsor knots as I tend to prefer thicker knots as opposed to skinny ones. Can you elaborate you consider the Windsor so bad, and what are the criteria for a good looking knot?

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@davepl1968 @foley2k2 The thing I loved most about NT was that the task manager would allow you to kill the “idle” process, thereby freezing the system. It felt weirdly powerful 😁
What was it actually killing? The OS scheduler or maybe some other kernel thread?

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@tina__nigro I really hope so, fingers crossed.

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@bbalkus @Khatayi17 @dioscuri That’s now part of ASML… ask me how I know 🙂

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@ScarbsTech I was about to jump in to say that it is impossible to have a resonant frequency that high! Really got me there, well played 😁

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@elonmusk It’s actually quite the opposite. If a president cannot be held accountable or questioned, then it’s not a democracy and he’s not a president anymore, but an emperor.

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@elonmusk This is clearly against the principle of separation of powers. Your solution is worse than the problem, the separation between judicial, legislative and executive power is in place to prevent any of the branches (but especially the executive) taking over the entire government.

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@Triode_in_situ @davepl1968 Always loved that on windows NT 4 the task manger allowed you to kill the “idle” process. I guess it represented the scheduler or some other kernel task, since the computer would freeze if you did that. It’s a capability that was (sadly) removed in XP if I remember correctly.

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@morganb ASML stock got punished today, however I believe that this situation is a win-win for the company. The ability to run advanced AI on consumer grade GPUs only means that even more latest gen chips will be needed, that means even more EUV machines sold to manufacture them.

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@SleepRebellion @TAdventurousoul Plot twist: he was live streaming too!

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@bubbleboi @Nexuist Well, one could also say it’s more ASML work than TSMC. But having spent more 10 years working on EUV I know that it takes incredible innovation - and cooperation - from all these companies to make those incredible chips possibile

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@barnabasdotexe @The4thWayYT …and don’t forget that opposite sides must be parallel to each other

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@vergun @thinkingwest Came here to say this! Even splitting Roman era into kingdom, republic and empire, and only focusing on the western empire, dates are wrong. Rome was founded in 753 BC and western Roman Empire fell in 476 AD

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@TheHandyJeff @theRealTavarish lol please elaborate I’m curious!

[Ludovico Verducci @ludwig980]

@dieworkwear You will forgive me for nitpicking here, but color temperature is not just an idea, but it actually derives from a physical phenomenon called black body radiation. Check it out: https://t.co/6yWcXSjtEK
