Would also add that there are definition problems (e.g. flows from savings to equities vs among equities; bid/ask changes without $ flows).

What do you think is the best metric for "equity flows" for >3mo timeframes?

The one I'm still searching for is a tell-all from a private equity CFO. The adjustments they make, the way they shift numbers to fit narratives. (And please let me know if you know of it)

@prpl8 Yup, Vanguard 2040 TRF's drawdown is -32% (and that's just nominal).

But not seeing signs of TRF selling in earnest -- e.g. not showing in keyword searches.

Are you watching closing auctions or anything else in particular?
