It's all about positioning really....tall poppy syndrome perhaps? We Australians suffer as well, thanks to your influence, but it does highlight the fact that the same product, but different markets, need two completely different reads on 'enthusiasm' as the signal. Translate your marketing word-for-word and you've just imported the wrong cultural default!
@levie Appreciate your views into enterprise @levie, Andrew Ng had similar framing on his advice but used "growth loops" as a way to get builders to focus their value prop
@KateBour Good slogan for basically any AI company that thinks humans won't be needed at some touchpoint in their product. As an expert, do you ever see AI nailing great copywriting in one shot @KateBour ?
@rorysutherland Great share @rorysutherland , I think 'reactive' is the keyword here, focused on a contrasting positioning , or just generally opposing things, with no real presence to build something that isn't just a carnival mirror of what 'the other team' is doing.
@Tantacrul@Meta It will largely ensure that the training data they gather is from a cohort who either can't figure out the steps or is too lazy....garbage in garbage out and the AI models get progressively stupider
@SarahLevinger@gwidotcom Harsh reality. If a brand can manage to align incentives to 'do good' with price/speed for consumers they win - any examples @sebkipman ?
@KieranSnyder This topic isn't discussed enough - really looking forward to your analysis! From years of managing a hybrid team (with the added bonus of a mix of part time/casual/full time employees) , it's one of the hardest aspects of maintaining an inclusive team culture.
@dklineii Great points - 'We're not family' establishes clear boundaries on both sides and 'Diversity is not an initiative' draws a line in the sand for all the virtue signalling companies you want to avoid.
