@TheBigPic I'm sorry but anyone who voted for CR-- who picked Young Guns and Caddyshack 2-- is a moronic simpleton who should be disqualified from talking about film. "bUt DiE hArD" idgaf is LeBron James is on the team, if Killian Hayes is in the rotation, it can't be a Dream Team.
@HeeemImaa38267 @ProminentKingz I meannnn, I'm a Pats fan but last week we did just see Drake Maye be very un-clutch when it mattered most for the 1 seed.
@ProminentKingz Stafford has the higher passer rating; Maye has the higher QBR. Stafford has more passing yards; Maye has more *total yards* (387 rushing yards to 26...). You've got me on TDs (40 to 29 is a HUGE difference), except that Davante Adam's and Puka Nacua are kinda elite...
@BufodJustice@matthewdmarsden Jake Sully, Neytiri, Quarritch, Spider. Also, fwiw Smokey and The Bandit also has a total lack of plot and is mostly notable for its impressive visuals, so glass houses bud.
@matthewdmarsden I am a writer. I do not like James Cameron's dialogue. I think James Cameron is an excellent filmmaker, and I have loved every Avatar film. The plot is formulaic; the dialogue is corny at times; the visuals are the greatest technical work ever put to screen.
@BladeoftheS Gotta love how some folks like to pretend an artist sucks as soon as they act shitty, because it's easier to do that than to acknowledge the simple fact that good art is made by shitty people.
@AlexWilsonESM In what way is this dirty? He appears to lead with the head for a sec, but he adjusts and hits with the shoulder. If QBs wanna run, they're gonna get hit like runners! He was inbounds and a yard shy of the first!
@future_liz Wild. I understand not liking it, but it's one of the most important movies of the year. It is a big studio film that is auteur-driven but is an original property with a mostly Black cast. It deserves a shoutout.
@toofarST I live in Boston. Not the middle of nowhere, but a small city. I have very limited ability to [legally] watching most great movies, and I'm too poor to travel to film festivals. Some of these films are among my favorites of the year, because they're the best films I had access to
