Looking back at Game of Thrones, there’s something almost absurd about how difficult Ser Gregor Clegane was to put down.

The Night King had an undead army, supernatural powers, and the ability to resurrect the dead with a single gesture. Yet once Arya reached him, his defeat happened in seconds.

The Mountain, meanwhile, became something far more primitive and horrifying: a walking corpse that simply refused to stop.

He survived poison, crushing injuries, blades, and fire. By the time Cleganebowl happened, Gregor barely looked human anymore. He didn’t fight like a man defending himself , he fought like something that had forgotten how to die.

And that’s what made his final battle with Sandor so dark.

The Hound eventually realized there was no conventional way to defeat his brother. He couldn’t overpower him. He couldn’t reason with him. He couldn’t even truly kill him.

So Sandor dragged him into the flames.

The Night King was the greater threat to the world, but The Mountain was built like a horror-movie final boss. One required a legendary army and ancient magic to stop.

The other basically needed an entire cliff and a firestorm.

If I were producing Evil Dead Burn, my biggest concern wouldn’t be the gore—it would be the story architecture. The film needs stronger character motivations and a tighter escalation of tension before unleashing the chaos. Horror hits harder when audiences are emotionally invested in who survives.
I’d also rethink the final act: less predictable, more psychologically brutal, and with consequences that actually linger after the credits. The franchise has the blood and madness; the next level is making us care before we scream. 🔥🎬
