DarkFi is creating the agorist future. It's not ephemeral. It's real.
DarkFi communications tools are the new internet: they're built to be simple, 100% anonymous and purely p2p. We refuse to surrender our data to Discord or other soy platforms. We reject the web and the paradigm of technology it has normalized.
Every Monday at 3pm UTC we have a dev meeting in the p2p anonymous chat that we created: ircd.
We're building a lifeboat. Join us: https://t.co/CYwV4PFat6
There's something prophetic and religious about privacy and encryption.
Ephesians 6:11
โPut on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devilโs schemes.โ
DarkFi feels less like a startup and more like the continuation of an ancient lineage inside crypto.
A bloodline of cypherpunk royalty stretching from the earliest days of Bitcoin into a future most of the industry abandoned.
@lunardragon420@satorinakamoto@SHL0MS On the cybernetics of anonymity:
One realm is a safe prison (RegFi), the other is dangerous and free (DarkFi).
The co-existence of two realms triggers an evolutionary dynamic (feedback, competition). Anonymity expands. Control society adapts.

You give me too much credit.
"Crypto will split into two. RegFi will be unusable and bolted down. It will be toothless. The other side will be the underground DarkFi. It will have bite."
DarkFi Manifesto by @lunardragon420, 2021.
Lunarpunk extrapolated this into the cybernetics of anonymity via feedback loops, etc.
โWhen we write software, weโre making statements about the world we want to build.
And not just making statementsโฆ but directly instantiating those worlds into being.โ
@lunar_mining took us to the edge of onchain privacy at Parallel Society, w/ a workshop on @DarkFiSquad tech.
p2pool is such a great idea of decentralized mining. In a traditional pool, the work and mined shares are centralized and under control of the pool operator, whereas in p2pool miners mine a sidechain with a lower target time and difficulty than the main chain, therefore splitting the work and writing it on-chain where a pool operator doesn't have control over it.
In Monero, the p2pool devs implemented a great way to support merge mining as well, which DarkFi will also be a part of - enabling all XMR p2pool miners to also receive DarkFi rewards for free, making decentralized mining even more profitable.
I hope this will also result in better initial security of the DarkFi blockchain since it will be able to utilize all of Monero's p2pool hashrate and protect against any adversaries that might attempt to take over the chain in the beginning while hashrate is relatively low.
