And employers with 50 or fewer employees can ask for government monetary relief for when they pay their employees the additional 14-day paid sick leave for public health emergencies, not that they were exempt from this if it were to be passed as written.
Article says that employers w/over 500 EEs or less than 50 EEs are exempt in one way or another. I only speed-read HR6201 so I may have missed it, but I can't find language in the text that substantiates this.

The editorial board writes, “The House’s failure to require universal paid sick leave is an embarrassment that endangers the health of workers, consumers and the broader American public.” https://t.co/2xh7vPnCs7

@CDPROJEKTRED I'm good with waiting till the end of the year if it'll mean making a more polished game while allowing your team to get a healthy amount of sleep and time with their family.
@adrienneba_ I feel blessed to have been introduced to African food (at least West African) last year and I can't get enough of it! The only problem is that now I've been dragged into the "who has the best jollof" debate. My boy is Ghanaian so I'm a bit biased...
@SHRMnextchat What's out? Not actually believing in your own brand because it's actually some marketing slogan you paid a consultancy a few million to pull out of their ass. What's in? Some real soul searching to figure out what the company's purpose is and why it exists.
Working more doesn't mean working better.
Productivity dramatically decreases with longer hours and drops off completely at 55 hours per week.
On average, someone working 70 hours a week achieves no more than a colleague working 15 fewer hours.

If employees aren't speaking up, don't blame them—blame the culture.
It's not enough to create a suggestion box. Leaders need to stop punishing voice and start rewarding (1) raising problems and (2) proposing ideas and improvements.

Yes, we need more servant leaders, but we also need more discerning followers.
Judge leaders by the values they enact, not the values they claim.
When they fail to live up to their principles or yours, choose civil disobedience over blind loyalty.
