AWS introduced Warm Pools in its autoscaling last year. This has the potential to reduce hosting costs by reducing autoscale latency.

#SEO Queries
By default, #Magento uses the following directives for robots.txt
User-agent: *
...
Disallow: /checkout/
Disallow: /customer/
...
But if you check those pages, meta values are "INDEX,FOLLOW".
Don't you think the value should be "NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW" instead?
Listening to interview with Paul Jarvis and @mijustin
A key takeway "Inde owners care more" and that is an advantage. Number of times I will be watching our support stream and jumping in to add value. Cant agree more.

One for a beer sometime. So much nuance here. Also not being on the board I’m missing 90% too.
Comms externally reflect comms internally, right now. Events Committee is doing good, but need to build channels to publicly talk about that. That’s next up for us.
No town hall, or MA Connect or even a series of short blog post updates hurts MA externally but also removes connection with community. (No comms = no conversations). Slack dead, no discord, not much engagement in Twitter/LinkedIn – that’s the fundamental building block for MA to survive. That’s step one. Marketing should be a first hire.
On the flip side, the negativity board members receive when they talk MA. It’s a catch 22 - no negativity from no updates. No updates without negativity arriving. It hurts applicants or interest (talking about myself here if there ever is/was another board seat up for election - 2027?)
@mattLefaux is a massive, massive step forwards. Next up is basic comms, board replacements, and committee overhauls where inactivity and lack of progress exist. Needs aggressive chairing/decisions with swift movements and I told @JoshuaSWarren as much at MMUK. It’s about governance change, not personnel, to move quicker.
(All entirely my own opinion/observations, of course)

I haven’t seen -all- of @philwinkle‘s presentations ever, but this felt like his ultimum form.
It was an entertaining, thoughtful and thought provoking talk that will make you look different at eCom sites.
https://t.co/3Vf4fzMLhg <- I've built out a public dashboard to help us all understand the pull request backlog on Magento 2.
Check out the code that powers it at https://t.co/Y0zbjjxRoG
I'm hoping this helps us understand how we can each contribute to reducing this backlog.
Why do (Magento and other eCommerce) hosting companies always ask for the size of the server you need to host on?
It is like a math class leaving the toughest problem as an exercise to the reader.

@brian_essig@JoshuaSWarren@shopware@BenMarks Agency problem does include $$$ that light up agencies' eyes. But, they also include weak project management, oversell headless, or not be accurate to compare merchant needs vs platform.
