Yesterday (8/28/26), the Governor, in answer to journalists' questions, (I am glad journalists are now asking hard questions) stated that he is not going to get into a back and forth about “conspiracy theories” that are now showing up online. This is deception. Everything we have asked for, and everything I have stated since the beginning of my investigation into his measle’s claims, is meticulously documented. You may disagree with what I, or the County Coroner, have stated and concluded, but if so, why?

It cannot simply be dismissed.

The Governor and other officials announced there were two “measles-associated” deaths in Lancaster County. The supposed first deaths in 35 years in Pennsylvania. That set off a firestorm of national media saying two “unvaccinated” people died here.

First, as a result of my investigation, and the Coroner’s clear on the record statements, we know that the first case was an infant who died in childbirth with measles, but not as a result of measles.

If the Governor disputes that finding, he has a responsibility to say why in a clear, transparent way, rather than dismiss it. Nothing prevents him from doing so. We have presented hard evidence and been transparent. They have presented none and have been the opposite of transparent. They essentially just say: we reviewed the cases and trust us they are measles. Nothing else.

Moreover, we know they were deceptive when the described the infant as “unvaccinated” because an infant who dies in childbirth has no opportunity to be vaccinated. It was a technically true statement, but designed to deceive.

Second, there is still zero information from them on the second case. What we do know is that any death from measles, or any other contagious disease, or suspected contagious disease, must be reported the County Coroner. None has. There are a few possible reasons for this. A.) No other measles death exists. B.) A measles death exists, but has not been reported, which would likely violate the law. C.) A measles death exists, but the individual died outside of Lancaster County and was reported to another county coroner. No evidence of this scenario can currently be found.

None of this is online conspiracy theories. It is facts.

The reason I am not letting this go is because it is a big deal when the Governor and health officials make such a dramatic claim and it cannot be backed up with evidence.

The undercurrent in this is that Lancaster County is so bad for having these unvaccinated people and letting this happen. I do not appreciate that insult to our citizens, who are smart, hardworking, and decent people. Lancaster County families deserve better.

Throughout this I have been open to the fact that I could be wrong about any of it. But it is incumbent on the people who had the press conference to show us why. You cannot just dismiss this as conspiracy theories and move along like nothing ever happened.

You owe us the truth on this.

When Detectives Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were killed, and Bill de Blasio invited himself to their funerals, I was proud to be one of the cops there who turned our backs on him.

It’s the most epic of silent protests I can imagine. I’d do it again.

For someone who campaigned with and embraced people who have said America deserved 9/11, for someone who shows more empathy towards criminals than cops and law-abiding citizens, for someone whose wife knowingly and openly supports terrorism, and for someone whose wife knowingly doesn’t respect us or our way of life, I simply want to remind the 9/11 families that you have the option and right to turn your back on Zohran Mamdani. Since he believes in protest so much, go ahead and make him the subject of one.
