️🏆Why Would Elon Want to Kill Twitter?

- #Twitter has become an unproductive and rage-inducing time sink. The platform's algorithms now reward formulaic, angry content optimized for engagement rather than quality.

- #Twitter was declining before Elon Musk bought it, but his poor management is accelerating its downfall. #Musk is actually doing us a favor by killing Twitter, which otherwise may have lingered for years due to network effects.

- Twitter's rules became too obvious - make threads, talk about how bad things are now, dunk on people, etc. This has made content and users more formulaic as they bend to please the algorithms.

- Twitter wastes countless hours of mental energy on mindless scrolling and fake outrage. Elon's mismanagement will free us from this grip and open space for new social platforms.

️🏆Why X? Why name X?

- #Twitter is rebranding to "X" based on Elon Musk's fondness for the letter X throughout his career

- The rebrand is linked to his plans to transform Twitter into a "super app" with features beyond social media.

- Musk's affinity for @X traces back to his 1990s startup https://t.co/dsLuXUknhC that became @PayPal. He also named his companies @SpaceX and @Tesla's Model X after the letter.

- So the rebrand to X reflects Musk's desire for an all-encompassing app as well as his personal attachment to the letter across his business ventures.

FAKE #BITCOIN ETF

The approval of the fake #BTC #ETF reminds us of a similar incident in 2000 involving Emulux stock.

Back then, a young employee made a fake announcement about @Emulux's earnings to recover his losses from trading. This false news spread quickly, causing the stock price to drop significantly before the truth came out.

This serves as a reminder that such events have occurred before, but they don't represent the true stability of the market.

🌍JUST IN: BANK-TOKENIZED ASSETS ARE HERE!

👉@jpmorgan has launched a new platform called Tokenized Collateral Network (TCN) that uses #blockchain technology to make it easier for investors to use assets as collateral.

👉TCN turns traditional assets like stocks into digital tokens that can be transferred and traded more efficiently.

👉@jpmorgan and investment firm @BlackRock recently did the first trade on TCN. BlackRock tokenized some shares of a money market fund and transferred the tokens to @Barclays bank. The tokens served as collateral for a derivatives trade between the two banks

👉Tyrone Lobban, who heads JPMorgan's digital asset division #Onyx, says TCN could allow investors to unlock capital and use it as collateral more easily.

👉Before, it took a long time to transfer collateral between parties. But with TCN, collateral can be moved instantly using blockchain tokens.

👉This means investors can get access to cash intraday by doing secured repo deals with their tokenized collateral. So they won't need as many expensive unsecured credit lines.
