The Morris Lab at the @DonnellyCentre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research and the University of Toronto is officially open for business, and the lab website is live! Check it out for info on our research and how you can join: https://t.co/IsQImxLbBF
Very excited to share our #singleCell dissection of #AlzheimersDisease coming out in @NatureGenet today! We identified 10,004 eGenes at the cell type level and 8,099 eGenes at the cell subtype level across 424 post-mortem human brain samples from the ROSMAP cohort!
Latest #GWAS from the @PGCgenetics#bipolar disorder working group identifies 64 loci, 33 of them novel, using over 40k European BD cases – now published in @NatureGenet. Results could eventually aid #precision#medicine. https://t.co/Wm3E5Uf6CJ 1/7
#SOBP2021 attendees: @NiamhAMullins will be presenting this Sat, 1:40-2:05pm (central) on biological insights into #bipolar disorder from a #GWAS of >40K cases. This is the largest study on the genetics of BD. 🙌🙌

Ever wondered who is to blame for all the gaps in your genome assembly? Our @biorxivpreprint led by @valentina_peona evaluates what's been previously hiding in gaps and how sequencing technologies succeed/struggle with repeat/GC-rich regions. https://t.co/EZA7CM2lHM #transposon
Want to understand or learn more about #transposons in vertebrate genomes? Get the best inside by attending @DavidAdelson3 @UniofAdelaide talk on Monday 27 May, 11am @scilifelab.
No, it took *YOU* 3 hours to figure out how to use rbokeh::plot_grid()!
