@EvanAG1999 I remember leading Morning Prayer in a rural Suffolk church with splendid box pews - when I said “Let us Pray”, the entire congregation disappeared from view! I had been warned but it was still a little disconcerting.

@SaveukChurches Of course Yes! A locked church door is no use to anyone. I used to enjoy telling email or telephone enquirers that our village churches were open during daylight hours. The delighted and surprised response said it all.
