@perrymetzger@DiveBomb321 The lump of labor falacy assumes humans never reach a skills ceiling. The pool of human-only tasks will continue to shrink, disputing entry level jobs and working its way up the ladder. Eventually you'll need a PhD to compete...until that's also not enough.
@perrymetzger@DiveBomb321 But AI doesn't need to be literally infinite, just ubiquitous enough to outperform humans at scale. I concede that a limited amount of people leveraging AI will be able to still find opportunities...but the average person doesn't have the skills to compete.
