Dinner at LaHerradura!

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@JohnMChell This was confirmed by the chancellor. He called us “childcare providers.” 🙄 He forgets - he was one too.

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@DOEChancellor Kamar, this is a dangerous and irresponsible decision. Shame on you - you worked in the Bronx. You know how bad the boroughs are. Do better!!!

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@ABC7NY @NY1 @CBSNewYork @WNBC WHERE WERE YOUR REPORTERS???? Why didn’t any of you ask if NYC is still in a state of emergency AND the MTA is NOT running at full capacity - WHY are they opening schools tomorrow?? Teachers are BEYOND upset - and you didn’t help!

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@NYCSchools Do you think all of the teachers and students who were STRANDED yesterday, magically are getting back today??? Do better Kamar!!! I’m so disappointed in you!!! And I used to work with you!

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@NYCMayor opening schools tomorrow is a HUGE mistake! Not all teachers can take public transportation. Streets STILL haven’t been plowed, people don’t have power, this is IRRESPONSIBLE & DANGEROUS!!!

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@NY1 ALL streets cleared?? Is this a joke??

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@NYCMayor @NYCSchools Where are teachers and staff (WITH NO ACCESS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION) supposed to park??? Great that schools will be open for kids - but who will watch/teach them if the adults can’t get there safely??? Do better! Kamar - you too!

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@SoniaRincon Seriously…where are the teachers supposed to park??? Talk about NOT telling the WHOLE story! NO ONE is covering where teachers are going to park tomorrow - but please, show how clear the sidewalks in front of MANHATTAN schools are. 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@johnnymaga Is he going to shovel out parking for the teachers tomorrow???

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@NYCMayor @NYCSchools @NBC4ITeam @ABC7NY @CBSNewYork @PIX11News @fox5ny @NYC_Chancellor Where, exactly, are the teachers supposed to park tomorrow? NO - we can’t take public transportation so that isn’t an option.

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@optimum Why do you have Jeopardy listed at 7:30 instead of 7:00??? Now my DVR didn’t record it. WTF???

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@OptimumHelp why is every response to an issue, “Hi there. We are here for you and happy to address any concerns you’re having. Please PM us with the phone number associated with the account and service address so we can best assist you. Thank you. It is insulting. Do better!

@RpsAgainstTrump I’d like to report JD for exploiting the shit out of Kirk’s murder - who do I call exactly?

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@Damaan4u33 Hell NO!!! He was a podcaster who most people didn’t know until he was killed. Enough with it all already. It’s ridiculous the spectacle being made over this guy. Let him just rest in peace and MOVE ON!

[Lyles @LylesNyc]

@TheOnlyEsta YES!!!

AN HONOR! THANK YOU!!!

[CALL TO ACTIVISM @CalltoActivism]

OH MY GOD.

Gavin Newsom just reenacted Trump’s cabinet meeting.

And it’s epic.

3 big questions to ask about the proposed shift to United Healthcare :

1. Which hospitals will be out of network in this new plan? NYU? New York Presbyterian? MSK? Northwell?

- can we get a list now of providers and hospitals in this plan? Or will we be stuck when it’s finalized ?

- if my doctor or specialist is affiliated with one of these hospitals, how does that affect me financially and continuity of care? Will I have to pay $500 copay at any of these hospitals?

2. When can UFT members , city workers and retires see the actual contract itself?

- Why are union bosses only getting one day to review the actual contract in person?

3. Do we trust United Healthcare’s record while it’s under federal criminal and civil investigation for fraud, upcoding, and its abysmal record of pre-authorization denials?

- After the lies and debacle surrounding Medicare Advantage, how do trust Michael Mulgrew?
