Just 49% of 173 families in my QI project recognise that emotional development begins in the womb.
What can we do to increase awareness and support early parent–baby connection? Come find out more at stand 9 at the @babyfriendly conference. #neurodevelopment#parentbaby
Insights from 173 families in my QI project: people value human conversation over written information. Strengthening staff confidence, knowledge, and communication skills is essential. #QualityImprovement#Healthcare
Excited to present my poster at the @babyfriendly Conference, sharing QI data on how close, loving parent–baby relationships support lifelong health. #babyfriendlyuk#infantbrain#antenatal#postnatal

My @ARC_NWL QI Leader Fellowship came to a finish in May. I’m so thankful to have had this opportunity. My QI looked at how to improve conversations in the perinatal period on how close and nurturing parent-baby relationships impact on a baby’s brain development.
My smallest turned 5 yesterday. A day of reflection and gratitude. Unfortunately not all families leave the hospital soon after birth.
Please consider sponsoring our 25km to raise funds for @ChelwestFT WMUH’s Special Care Baby Unit through @cwpluscharity

@DanWuori I’d love to hear you speak. I look forward to details.
@babyfriendly - how about a talk on why Standards 1 and 5 are so important for brain development?
A reminder to those writing manifestos and party political communications that this is what our "youngest" children look like. Childhood doesn't start at childcare & early education, even if you start it at nine months. #BabyBlindspot#IMHAW2024
