The Department of Justice disagrees strongly with the decision on the Anti-Weaponization Fund put forth by the United States District Court Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia, wherein the Court stated that, under no circumstances, may the Department of Justice proceed with the Anti-Weaponization Fund recently established in order to make up for the tremendous abuse, harm, and hate unfairly shown to so many people. This Fund was open to anybody who was so weaponized, targeted, or persecuted, whether they were Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Independent, or otherwise. The Department will abide by the Court’s ruling.
The New Yorker recently released an article about why patriotism is "problematic." If you grew up only seeing America's sins, then I can see how you hold this view. But EVERY country has its sins. The bigger question is: Is it striving to be better?
That's what real patriotism is. It's not flag waving, MAGA hat-wearing, partisan jingoism. It's a love for your country and a wonder of what it could be and what it has been for many: a refuge, a promise, a stubborn belief that ordinary people can govern themselves.
Loving our country doesn’t mean ignoring the ledger. Two things can be true at the same time. Patriotism is seeing the scars of our history and still choosing to sit at the table.
The idea that 'ALL men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness', is still worth striving for. I don’t see anyone at the table coming up with something better.
.@kevinolearytv is right that China is trying to convince America to stop building AI data centers while building tons of its own. That's China's plan to win the AI race and control the next century.
But that DOES NOT mean data centers should just drain public power. I'm dead set against any data center that has a SINGLE line feeding them power from the grid. But some are generating their own power and giving the excess TO the grid. Those are two very different scenarios.
Thankfully, Kevin O'Leary has said his data center project in Utah will generate its own power. THIS IS A MUST.
Just like railroads, factories, oil, and electricity powered previous generations, the future will run on AI computing, powered by massive amounts of energy. We need both to stop China from dominating the world. China knows this and is trying to turn data centers into a boogeyman.
There’s evidence out now from the Bitcoin Policy Institute that foreign influence networks are actively feeding this anti-data center movement in the United States. They traced several overlapping campaigns, all aimed at slowing American AI infrastructure down, directly to China.
Strong countries build infrastructure. Weak countries fear it. We can't fall for their trap. But we must also build strategically without sacrificing public resources.

While raising hundreds of millions of dollars from neurotic left-wingers via direct mail by stoking fear of surging "hate groups," the SPLC literally paid someone more than $270,000 to, among other things, plan and organize the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA. The SPLC also paid six-figure amounts to people at the same time they were listed as extremists the group was dedicated to battling against.
If accurate, the SPLC was literally funding and coordinating the "hate" surge it used to solicit funds for its operations. The whole organization was a con job.

What a misleading headline from The Daily Mail.
The ATF ran a tool mark analysis on a bullet jacket fragment recovered from Charlie's autopsy.
The result was "inconclusive" — not "no match."
The jacket was too fragmented to compare, which also partially explains the lack of an exit wound.
The bullet shattered on impact.
"Inconclusive" means insufficient evidence to draw any conclusion.
It doesn't mean the bullet "did NOT match" the rifle like the headline says.
The defense wants to use "inconclusive" as exculpatory evidence — but the prosecution wants to run chemical or molecular analysis comparing the jacket alloy to ammunition recovered with the gun.
Unlike tool mark analysis, it doesn't require an intact bullet.
The defense is trying to block that testing from happening.
That's the nuance of the real story.
