#MeetAWriter D15: Is it weird if I say I've learned a lot about life from my kids and being a parent? It's taught me so much about empathy and gratitude. The 'adults' in my life taught me to be practical and responsible and wear pants. My kids reminded me to dream and play, too.

@ellamooreauthor For short stories, I like to write by the seat of my pants and see where my imagination will take me.
For novels, I tend to have layered plots I couldn't accomplish without outlining. BUT, my characters still deviate from the plot 50% of the time and I have to update the outline.
