I do not need to speak to anyone!
Any barbaric action like this indicates that this is a jungle and we can easily spread rumors against our political or religious enemies and make these ignorant followers do such heinous acts that would serve our own agenda
Such scholars and moulana who approve such crimes must be making a lot of money and gaining a lot of power because of this!
They don’t deserve to be called scholars!
Only the Muslim ruler can give such a directive and only to be executed by the authorized personnel
We are governed by sharia law and not by the laws of the jungle.
Hammad Bhai somehow I expected a better tweet from you. Alhamdolillah, I trust you have competence and financial integrity; I also expected you to show intellectual honesty and moral courage. But you elected not to. You know neither I nor @SKhaqanAbbasi was guilty of any financial corruption. Asad Umer knew it; as Engro Chairman he had bid a much higher price for this terminal. Imran Khan knew it. Yet your leader and party chose to persecute us and all of you stood silently. Even today you couldn’t bring yourself to say you guys were wrong and should never have done it. Introspection and self-criticism is not easy, but it is necessary.
Today your party is under the hammer. Some of which you brought onto yourselves by riding the shoulders of the establishment and curtailing political space for all political actors. And you know it, but won’t admit it.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and I say openly that this is present government is constructed on the basis of Forms 47. That PTI had the more votes, seats and legitimacy. We have openly said that the people involved in the May 9 attacks must only be prosecuted and not persecuted, cases of under-trial prisoners should be resolved forthwith and that women prisoners, who are entitled to bail under our laws, should be given bail.
I have ridiculed on tv the Iddat case and the ToshaKhana asset mis-declaration case. But I cannot in good conscience say that deliberate undervaluation of ToshaKhana watches was not corrupt or giving Baharia Town £190 million in exchange for certain gifts was anything but corrupt. I think in your heart you too agree to this.
I and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have raised our voices and told the truth. Have you?
You want a Naya Pakistan? Start with saying the 2014 Dharna was wrong and anti-democratic. Say that kicking out Mian Nawaz Sharif for not taking Director’s fees was wrong. Say jailing many innocent PMLN and PPP leaders was wrong. Before you give sermons to others about condemning oppression, admit to your part in oppressing others.
You want the establishment to not be part of politics? Stop saying you will only talk to them. Talk to your political opponents. Think of them as your political adversaries and not your enemies. When you try to rob them of their legitimacy, you destroy your own space.
Peaceful protests are your right. Absolutely; but you guys are no longer the ladlas. Others have taken that spot. So engage in peaceful protests and don’t think you can now get away with what you could in the past.
Yours is by far the biggest political party in Pakistan. Keep looking only to the people of Pakistan. Don’t look for shortcuts again. Power can come and go. But honour once lost cannot be regained.
Allah says in Surah e Ash-Sharh
“So, surely with hardship comes ease. Surely with that hardship comes more ease. So once you have fulfilled your duty, strive in devotion. Turning to your Lord alone with hope.”
May Allah guide us all and eases our hardships.
Who saw this incredible story on the front page of The New York Times today? This is one of the most popular stories of the week!
The recent carbon dating of an ancient Quranic manuscript at the University of Birmingham has now added even more proof regarding the unparalleled degree of certainty with which the Quran has been preserved. These folios have been Carbon 14 dated to within the same time frame, or perhaps shortly after, our Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam). In other words, if this parchment wasn't written for/by a Companion, then it was written by/for a student of one of the Companions.
In this image, prepared by Prof Godlas, you can see the original manuscript, written in the ancient Hijazi manuscript, and compare it with its modern, typed equivalent.
This collection, called the 'Mingana collection' (after the researcher Alphonse Mingana, d. 1937) was purchased by Mingana in either Iraq or Syria, almost a hundred years ago. Edward Cadbury, the founder of the famous chocolate company, sponsored Mingana's trips to the Middle East. His collection, which includes hundreds of manuscripts, is primarily housed at the University of Birmingham, in the UK.
Many Muslims ask me, 'How come so many Islamic documents and manuscripts ended up in non-Muslim lands and libraries?' The response, in a nutshell is: colonialism, and the power of money. Some manuscripts were simply 'acquired'; but most were sold by private owners, or on the black market, to travelers from Europe who could pay what would have been considered astronomical prices for the time.
And frankly, that is a good thing. The Muslim world simply did not have (nor does it have!) the latest technology or the scientific means to take care of these manuscripts the way that the Western world is now doing. It is my belief that Divine Will is allowing these manuscripts to be preserved in the best manner possible, even if that is occurring at the hands of those who do not believe in them in the first place.

If we wont work on our children, what future will we see!
Except KPK school enrollment drive, no province is focusing on that.
@iamfahimmalik @Kohmazar2@ImranKhanPTI @iamfahimmalik You are right. Who will make these people understand that in Pakistan aka Punjabistan, only Punjabi life matters, others like Pashtuns and Balochs are secondary citizens and cannot be advocated by even the politicians claiming to represent the whole country.
