@SebastianLague In your video about procedural moons, you used len(crater_center - vertex)^2 - 1 to create a parabolic crater in a sphere.
The logic makes sense for a flat plane, but when I try it on a sphere get odd artifacts and had to use polar coords. Is there a trick to it?
