That’s great, and I’m happy this disaster is over.

Trump starts a war, the Strait of Hormuz closes, shipping is disrupted, a naval blockade follows, billions are spent, lives are lost, and regular people suffer around the world.

Then we’re told reopening the strait, withdrawing the blockade, and ending the war is some historic achievement.

We have essentially celebrated returning to a condition that existed before the war began, except now the region is less stable, countless people have suffered, and hundreds of billions have been burned.

Quite an accomplishment.
