The Gen Z of the North is fundamentally different from the Gen Z of Tamil Nadu.

Northern Gen Z is still struggling. They have never witnessed good governance in their lives, nor have they received any benefits from their governments till this day.

Tamil Nadu’s Gen Z, on the other hand, are the filthy rats who enjoyed every benefit of Dravidian politics — and are now busy mud-slinging the very same politics that lifted them and their families.

Police wear these “pervert glasses” at Jantar Mantar, record faces, match them, and knock on doors. Peaceful young people protesting paper leaks and exam fraud are treated like criminals.

Government’s priority is clear: protect the PM’s post. Crush the students.
This is not law and order. This is state-sponsored surveillance dressed up as smart policing.

Privacy for the powerful. Cameras for the powerless.
How long will we let our children be tracked and thrashed like cattle while the same government lectures Meta about free speech?

NEET was introduced with three principal promises: (1) reduce the burden, (2) eliminate commercialisation, and (3) improve standards.

On every one of these counts, #NEET has failed. It has merely shifted the centre of learning from schools to coaching centres.

The problem with NEET has always been structural, not merely procedural. Recent events have vindicated that concern.

The ongoing student protests must serve as a wake-up call for the Union Government. It's time to trust the states. It's time to abolish NEET.
