@Buddhaaddict@KeysTwenty@Miss_Snuffy Of course, if it was someone from the opposite side of the political spectrum, they'd be accused of indoctrination.
@PaulEmbery At one point Cathy Burke appears as a grotesque Fagin-like character. Totally cariacatured and fictional (sorry for the spoiler).
It's a work of fiction.
@PaulEmbery False equivalence. Noone is saying the air raid warden was white and is being played by a black actor. It's the story of two people of colour, based on real people- (the photo Steve McQueen saw and the real Nigerian warden). It's his imagined fiction.
Paul, have you seen it?
@PaulEmbery@timdumas70@Ann0553 Sounds a really interesting story and a different take on something we already know a lot about. Oh, and psst it isn't real life; it's FICTION!
@Oldgitsville@KeysTwenty@Miss_Snuffy No envy at all. I had a very successful career in a lovely school with a diametrically opposed philosophy to hers. And no politicisation needed.
@Miss_Snuffy What I do know is that if a Headteacher with opposing political views, i.e. on the left, were to combine their politics with their educational views, they would soon be accused of "indoctrination".
@KeysTwenty@Miss_Snuffy What surprises me is that someone in her position has the time to churn out so much stuff on social media. I was a teacher for 36 years, and no Headteacher I worked for would have had the time. Neither would they have sought to politicise their school in the way @Miss_Snuffy does
