@blaramie4955 In our experience the 875 worked wonderfully, however the fields were always “wetter” in the spring, something that Case promoted when the 870 was first released. With the Landoll, a field will be fit for secondary spring tillage two plus days sooner.
Great day to continue with our preferred tillage system. Tanner and the team at ETS have done a great job helping us to maximize performance of this tool.
Mini cog resting on a standard cog. Our configuration today is 6 standard cogs and 10 mini cogs. Waiting for 16” coulter blades so we can run a coulter in front of the standard cogs as well.
@justfarmin Caleb, two goals. First reduce wear on expensive cog wheels and second facilitate cog wheel penetration. An added benefit, seeing less bunching/plugging with corn residue with the coulters.
@DFarms001 Dave, would not have been possible when we started, ground has changed. We are having a dry fall (1.25” of rain in October, essentially 0 this month) and making nice berms.
