@ThePrimeagen@moonpouncer I also find this feeling of “it’s taking too long to explain, let me just get in there myself” and by then you’re just tearing out whatever the LLM did write already. Though sometimes this half baked conversation teaches you something, like pair programming…
@ThePrimeagen@vinrambone I’ve learned a lot just to complete a single tasks then forget it. LLMs still aren’t great at big architectural decisions, and even if you could jam everything you know in context, it is important you understand it personally. But “leaf node” tasks? Good LLM opportunity.
@itsseanlundberg@BryanBumgardner@northbeam Disposable income is the missing piece that came to my mind. If you look at the universe of customers as just drops in your funnel it looks like the traffic quality is dropping. But they are real people with finite money to spend on both yours + other relevant stuff
@RomanEcom If you don't want to move platforms, just point claude at their API docs and say "build yourself an MCP to access this API and pull in applicants"
@Timbo239@RomanEcom@gazlowe Sad reality is yunexpress is 90% of order volume for all the new ship from China players with “deep china logistics connections”
@RomanEcom The trap is this:
1. You want to scale
2. You lock into a daily repayment % with effective APR 20-40%
3. You use the capital to scale
4. At the same repayment %, now you pay the principal back twice as fast giving you 50%+ APR because guess what… you scaled rev
@notch Remember your old vision for torches burning out in a cave behind you...
did you ever see better than wolves? it's a mod currently on minecraft 1.6, that converts it entirely into a semi-realistic survival game. Roguelike mechanics of discovering items/mobs would be awesome.
@SethBling@GreatMCGamer I have a background with similar interests, Seth. (Minecraft, emulators, general hackery). I've freelanced in the past, now work in a startup and I'm interested in producing video content this year. I'd pay $50 to pick your brain for an hour...
