Conviction is now fully live for Bittensor subnets.
In startups, founders can show commitment through vesting. In Bittensor, subnet owners can now prove it with locked alpha.
And for the first time, subnet ownership can be challenged by a higher conviction score.
I’ve been quietly building regression layer on top of Bittensor for over a year, but unfortunately I’ve run out of funds and had to stop all the infra.
With this, I’d like to dedicate the @subtensor handle to @const_reborn or @opentensor as it doesn’t belong anywhere else except TAO and its ecosystem.
@const_reborn, my DMs are open if you’re interested.
Access to intelligence should not depend on a handful of companies or governments.
This is why open, decentralized, permissionless AI matters.
This is why Bittensor matters.
Speculatively speaking, @const_reborn’s decision to manually slash emissions from long-pending subnets is about establishing the biggest root-to-subnet rotation.
Only subnets that are fully active deserve emissions and $TAO during this reset phase. It’s as simple as that.
Trying for free AGI the “same old way” will fail.
We cannot take on the giants of fiat capital by playing the same game.
We can however invent new games, ways of aggregating compute, and organizing engineers that out compete along the dimensions of efficient organization.
This is the only path forward.
From today's NS episode: Miner registration will soon count toward Taoflow
Another major shift that separates productive subnets like 88 from extractors with no mining activity

@subnetamplify only few noticed, @platform_tao was also mentioned in one of the @twistartups and @Jason live podcasts chats.
This article definitely helps.
