@HCaufieldberg@NoEscalators That "DEI nonsense" is literally just reaching out to marginalized groups in order to expand the pool of applicants to pick from. Cutting that is completely counterproductive to this conversation.
@RetiredFireCa@bobpockrass@NASCARONFOX Trackhouse had him under contract through 2027. Hendrick presumably came in and made an offer that they couldn't beat. It's business.
@JasonOBenfield@ESPN_BillC I don't have the link off-hand where he explains it, but it's a combination of recent success, recruiting rankings, and returning production. Only subjectivity is on the part of the people who assign the recruiting rankings at 247 and elsewhere, everything else is based on stats.
@Colt3756 @SimonCaldwell00@zach_madore The 4, 71, and 75 will almost certainly make it on speed, and the 2 and 56 likely will too. If any of the other 3 somehow find some decent speed and make it in, and the 76 doesn't, he goes home.
@LemmoBrand16289 @AdamKinzinger Yes, it really is insane how little fraud they were able to dig up in the wake of all this crying about supposed stolen elections.
@collection369@AdamKinzinger We've known that what would eventually come to light? That Trump is growing more and more desperate for a power grab? That's not news.
@FourZeroDesigns@Alexlambert2003 Basically, with the wide gap between 1st and 2nd place points, the drivers in 14th to 17th would have to split the six wins to all come close, and once you account for that there aren't enough points available for all of them to pass Denny and Tyler.
@FourZeroDesigns@Alexlambert2003 It's not just that.... the drivers ranked 16th, 15th, etc would also have to score enough points to get ahead. By your math, you'd need a 456 point buffer with 6 races remaining, but Denny is only up on 17th by 353 points.
@ZoranTomasovic@FrankieFra2s0t My guess is that this deal was already in the works when Kyle died. I was a bit surprised that RCR named Austin the full-time replacement, but this might make it make more sense.
