Maddy

nah

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(233;ch24) Darnay wants to go to Paris instead of Lorry...nice of him to be concerned for his friend but I feel it's a bad idea for D to go

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@gsawaya2018 yeah it was his chateau

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(224;ch23)"Strange that Creation, designed expressly for Monseigneur, should be so soon wrung dry and squeezed out!" nice sarcasm, Dickens

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@DeLue22 so many #luney tears

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@benlikeswhales @macyh2018 @juliel2018 there were some carvings on the wall, but I was expecting some shoemaking stuff to be there too

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@maximumpotter highlight of the chapter tbh

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(223;ch22) interesting how right after killing Foulon, all of St Antoine goes back to normal, like they didn't just chop off a man's head

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@maddyv_mcg but S's response to the refusal was petty:"...directing them to beware of the pride of Beggars, like that tutor fellow"(209ch21)

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

I liked that Darnay refused to tutor Stryver's "lumps of bread & cheese" (aka kids). they seemed Dudley Dursley-like, anyways. (209;ch21)

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@BreeCom_ @2018_rgordon and the boy's last words were for Carton: "Poor Carton! Kiss him for me!" (209;ch21)

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@BreeCom_ dem spikes though

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(193;ch18) "...as though he were trying to reconcile some doubts in his mind." maybe there's still hope for Dr M to get back to normal?? 🙏🏽

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(186;ch17) "If it had not been Charles, it would have been another"
*cough* Sydney Carton *cough*

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@BreeCom_ and how does Mme Defarge choose which names to knit? do they have to be suspicious or are they just ppl who have to do w/ the Rev?

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(185;ch16) "...knitting, knitting, counting dropping heads." knitting has suddenly become a lot more sinister #feartheyarn

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(172-3;ch15) Defarge thinks the mender of roads was faking his excitement @ Versailles but the MoR's cheers seemed pretty genuine

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@BreeCom_ gotta love the spikes

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

(160-61;ch14) Jerry's not so much of an honest tradesman after all, no matter how many times he calls himself one #resurrectionman

[Daniel Howell @danielhowell]

don't judge me for the litter that falls out for i am just a humble trash can trying to roll my way through life

[Maddy @maddyv_mcg]

@benlikeswhales @2018_rgordon see reggie??? DO U SEE THE TRUTH
