In Sweden, only 1% of waste ends up in landfills, with 50% being recycled or composted and 49% being incinerated for energy. This has caused a problem: there's not enough waste to keep the incinerators running. So, Sweden gets paid to import waste from Norway and England.

Canadians have great respect for other cultures. About 1-5 were born in other parts of the world. People bring their cultures with them making Canada such a diverse country.

Children born in South Korea are considered to be "one year old" when they are born. They will turn two years old in the next Lunar New Year. The family will hold a big celebration for the baby once they turn 100 days old.

Because they feel protected BY the government instead of wanting to be protected FROM the government.
