Prof. Jadwiga Tritt-Goc from the Institute of Molecular Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poznań, Poland, will give a lecture entitled “Molecular Dynamics in a Protic Ionic Liquid [MIm][TFSI] studied by NMR Relaxometry and Diffusometry” at the AMPERE NMR School 2026!
Her research focuses on molecular dynamics and transport phenomena in solids and liquids studied by NMR relaxometry and diffusometry. Her scientific background also includes fluid transport in porous materials, NMR imaging, and studies of polymers, organogelators, ionic systems, and proton-conducting materials. In recent years, her work has addressed protic ionic liquids and the relation between molecular motion, proton transport, and intermolecular interactions across different time scales.
In her lecture, she will discuss molecular dynamics in the protic ionic liquid [MIm][TFSI] as studied by NMR relaxometry and diffusometry, highlighting how these methods can reveal both translational motion and proton transport processes in ionic systems.

The AMPERE NMR School 2026 will cover a broad range of modern NMR topics, combining theoretical and experimental aspects of magnetic resonance with applications across nanoscience and nanotechnology.

His research focuses on magnetic resonance bioimaging, NMR spectroscopy, and molecular dynamics in biological systems. His broader scientific background also includes the development and study of MRI contrast agents and functional nanomaterials, while his recent work has involved the use of NMR and MRI to assess body composition, fat content, and metabolic changes in biological models.

Her research focuses on the development and application of NMR and MRI methods for studying molecular-scale processes, microscopic structure, and flow behaviour in complex soft-matter and bio-based systems. Her scientific background combines physics, physical chemistry, and biomaterials science, and her work includes rheo-NMR, MRI velocimetry, and flow-MRI approaches applied to porous media, soft dispersions, food systems, and related materials.
In her lecture, she will discuss the principles and applications of Rheo-NMR and MRI velocimetry, highlighting their value for investigating flow, deformation, and internal dynamics in complex materials.

His research focuses on molecular dynamics and charge transport in ionic systems studied by magnetic resonance methods, with particular emphasis on diffusion NMR, relaxometry, and electrophoretic NMR. His scientific work includes the development and application of eNMR methodologies for probing ion pairing, electrophoretic mobility, and intermolecular interactions in ionic liquids, electrolyte solutions, ionogels, and related soft-matter systems.
In his lecture, he will discuss how electrophoretic nuclear magnetic resonance can be used to investigate molecular dynamics and interactions in ionic systems, highlighting its value for understanding ion transport and complex ionic behaviour at the molecular level.
