Doing my speaking exams today. Apparently the local park was rammed with kids playing football last weekend. Might want to avoid it next weekend too. #mfltwitterati
A) only the ones who want to be there show up
B) it's a more casual atmosphere, helping to build relationships and confidence before the exam
C) they're less tired than in a revision session after school
D) it gives them more tools for revision
E) (also makes me feel better 😂)

I'm having roaring success with my Y11 French just setting 1 of the past or future bullets from a 90 word as a long starter (minus any time frame so they have to actually read it). Pupils are writing loads at speed and improving rapidly. Makes the real writing exam seem so easy.
