안녕하십니까.
오늘 7월 1일부로 50대 국무총리로 임명된 한성숙입니다.

국민과 국회가 맡겨주신 책임을 무겁게 받아들입니다. 특히 청문회를 준비하는 지난 2주간은 제대로 느끼지 못했던 무게가 오늘 아침은 훨씬 더 크고 무겁게 다가오는 날입니다.

6월 29일 3대 메가프로젝트를 발표했던 중요한 날이 있었습니다. 우리 산업과 균형 발전의 규모와 속도가 지금까지 상상했던 것과는 차원이 달라지는 이정표가 세워진 날이라고 생각합니다.

우리나라는 이제 대격변의 시대를 추격하던 상황에서 대격변을 주도하는 나라로 위상이 변하고 있다는 생각입니다.

정부도 여기에 맞춰서 더욱 발 빠르게 움직이고, 필요한 정책들이 제때 실행될 수 있도록 저도 맡은 바 임무에 최선을 다하겠습니다.

AI와 첨단산업에 대한 투자는 더욱 과감하게 확대하고 혁신의 걸림돌이 될 수 있는 규제 합리화에도 적극 나서겠습니다. 그 성과가 국민의 삶에 스며들고, 청년들의 성장과 도약의 기회로 이어질 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.

성장의 과실이 중소기업과 골목상권에까지 스며들어 모두가 가능성을 펼칠 수 있는 대한민국을 만드는데 정부도 든든한 디딤돌이 되겠습니다.

국민 한 분 한 분의 삶이 더 나아질 수 있도록
