🚨 REALITY OF HUNGER INDEX
🇿🇼 Zimbabwe Rank : 107th
🇮🇳 India Rank : 111th
🍚 India sent 1000MT rice to Zimbabwe as aid
These indices are nothing but hypocrisy of west
This is one of the worst stretches in Bengaluru, and unfortunately, this is not the first time it has been waterlogged. Year after year, every time heavy rain hits the city, this underpass turns into a lake, causing severe inconvenience to commuters, damaging vehicles, and putting lives at risk. Despite repeated incidents and countless complaints from citizens, nothing seems to have changed. The most frustrating part is that this problem is entirely predictable. Authorities know exactly what happens here during every monsoon, yet there appears to be no permanent solution or effective drainage system in place. Instead, residents and daily commuters are forced to suffer the same ordeal repeatedly while promises of infrastructure improvements remain on paper. Citizens pay taxes expecting better roads, proper stormwater management, and safe public infrastructure. However, situations like this raise serious questions about planning, accountability, and maintenance. How many more years will people have to endure the same issue before meaningful action is taken? A city aspiring to be a global technology hub cannot afford to have critical roads and underpasses flooded after every spell of rain. Public issues deserve attention, and citizens deserve better than the same recurring problem year after year.

@srivasrbmrccoi1
Karnataka Govt allocates ₹10 Cr to Priyanka Gandhi’s Wayanad ONCE AGAIN for last year’s landslide.
They had already donated ₹10 crore earlier too for building houses.
Why donate Karnataka taxpayers’ money to Kerala? What’s the compulsion?
The only practical solution to Bengaluru’s traffic nightmare is reliable and affordable public transport and mass rapid transit systems.
When metro fares become irrational, citizens are forced back to private vehicles bringing it back to square one.
Instead of wasting thousands of crores on real estate vanity projects such as the Tunnel road, the state government should invest on efficient mass mobility aimed at transporting people.
It is high time the State Government asks for a new fare Fixation Committee ensuring logical and commuter friendly metro pricing taking the interests of the people into priority.

WE ARE EATING POISON!
Latest CPCB analysis in Bengaluru showed 26% of vegetable samples contained lead levels far ABOVE legal safety limits. Lead is a toxic heavy metal linked to brain damage, developmental issues & long-term health risks!
🔹 19 out of 72 vegetable samples had dangerous lead levels.
🔹 “Organic” branded brinjal had 20× the legal lead limit!
🔹 Leafy greens, beans, gourds, cucumber, chilli, beetroot had extreme lead contamination.
🔹 Capsicum, chilli, ginger and cucumber had high amounts of pesticides.
🔹 23 of 26 soil samples from Kolar, Chikkaballapur and Nelamangala found contaminated.

Went for a morning walk today after almost a month, on a familiar East Bengaluru road. On just 5 km of my route, open garbage dumping was so common that the stench of rotting waste and dead dogs was unbearable. Forget silt and dust. Internal roads in Bengaluru are never cleaned. Where do our garbage taxes go? Why is the government not doing anything about this? If money is being allocated for cleaning, why is there no monitoring?
I was forced to walk on narrow roads while being dangerously chased by furious water tankers racing to quench the thirst of the city. There is no concept of footpaths on these roads. I was also chased by reckless drivers in Thar, Creta, and XUV 700 vehicles.
One thing that stings hard about the systematic corruption in Bengaluru: new areas and high rise buildings are mushrooming overnight, but no one is thinking about better roads, drains, or footpaths. Builders keep encroaching whatever little road shoulder is available. New shops are opening without parking space even for a bike or an auto. A perfect recipe for future gridlock.
Why does Bengaluru keep creating one IT Slum after another? Why are we building disasters?

In Karnataka, even a newborn baby is now burdened with a ₹1 lakh debt—courtesy of @Siddaramaiah’s “achievement”!
Siddaramaiah has earned the dubious distinction of being the only Chief Minister in the state’s history to push Karnataka’s debt beyond ₹5 lakh crore. With that, the @INCKarnataka government proudly takes the title of a debt-ridden government.
Loot in the name of “guarantees,” loot under the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, loot of public corporations—this government has checked every box. It easily qualifies as one of the most corrupt governments Karnataka has ever seen. At this rate, when Congress’ misrule finally ends, it may well leave the state nailed to a mountain of debt!
This is the real legacy of the Congress government in Karnataka.
While Sun was transiting to Makar Rashi on Makar Shankranthi, Tejaveera Bharateeyaru day started with meeting Senior Volunteers of Varthur Lake who had dedicated years together to research, revive and stop pollution in the #varthur lake. Humbled to meet them, a new chapter has started .
Please understand urbanisation is not having high rise buildings, tech parks and pubs. Unless the Vaayu, Bhoomi and Jal is taken care and protected, your existence itself will become a curse to the planet and eventually which affects you. On this front @KannadaRepublic has covered the varthur lake issue.
#IISC professor Ramachandra and team has put lot of efforts to identify what happens when industry wastes and sewage is let out into the lakes.
Have attached small image on how vegetables contain heavy metals grown on the banks of polluted water bodies. This research paper is from #IISC professor. Please wake up.... One of the reason for neurological diseases are because of heavy metals.
Join hands in getting mass signatures for us to take it further, reach us out to, lets bring our lake bodies back to life to save your next generation. Please email [email protected] to connect.
