Kenya's protein crisis is silent but catastrophic. 26% of children under 5 are stunted. Malnutrition costs the country KES 273.9 billion/yr, 6.9% of GDP. The cognitive damage is irreversible. Here's what the evidence says, and how poultry, pigs & oily fish can fix it.
A short🧵
Joy had started soft launching this idea that we need to leave our land. Interesting that the President himself is now unashamedly saying the same. Joy gave UK as an example, mara Singapore sasa ni Japan. Why not make policies for Kenya as it is and not just copy others blindly?
Even if it was true It doesn’t change that people died and bled for it. It doesn’t change that THEY WERE WILLING TO TAKE IT THAT FAR.

Maseno school had 800 students in the entire school in 2008. Now there are over 2000 kids in the school
No new major infrastructure. My brother had to leave everything there because of bedbugs a few years back
It’s actually the other way round Mr. President. There is a reason the right to life and the fundamental freedoms come first in the Bill of Rights. More than anything else we want to live in a free and democratic country because in the dark of the grave where you put Rex Maasai and Albert Ojwang, you can’t see shiny things.
The unspoken thing in this video is that the Ethiopian military seized a cache of arms allegedly bearing Kenyan ’Ministry of Defence’ labelling as indicated in the tweet below.
