Indian Institute of Technology Delhi issues a press release - IIT Delhi has once again emerged as India's best education and research institution by securing a global rank of 118, an improvement of five positions from last year's 123rd rank, according to the QS World University Rankings (QSWUR) 2027 announced on June 18, 2026. With the 118th rank, IIT Delhi has also equalled the highest global position ever achieved by an Indian institution in the QS World University Rankings.
