AI red light cameras are against due process. They force defendants to jump through hoops to prove innocence instead of the state having to prove its case. These cameras are UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Listen to this informed citizen:
Utah is the greatest success story of the American experiment.
On the measures that hold a society together and move men and women toward flourishing, no place compares.
Strong families. Utah leads the nation in marriage stability and two-parent households. It also has the highest birth rate in America, 15 to 20 percent above the national average.
Low poverty. Utah has the lowest childhood poverty rate in the country and the fewest households on public assistance or SNAP.
Most devout. Pew Research finds Latter-day Saints are the most observant Christians in the nation, leading in weekly worship, daily prayer, and regular scripture study.
Men with purpose. Richard Reeves studies what is happening to men and boys in America. On Utah he wrote: “The good news is that most men say they understand their purpose in life. The share is a full ten percentage points higher in Utah than the U.S. as a whole, almost certainly a reflection of the unusually high rates of religiosity and marriage in the state.”
Model citizens. University of Pennsylvania researchers found that active Latter-day Saints volunteer far more than the average American. Utah families also lead the country in the share of income they give away.
Built by covenant. None of this is luck. Pioneers organized a desert around binding promises to God through Jesus Christ that put family stability and mutual obligation first.
A history of excellence. A century ago, Latter-day Saint women fought infant and maternal mortality without waiting for federal programs. They built clinics, trained nurses, and drove death rates below the national average.
Best state. U.S. News and World Report has ranked Utah number one for four straight years.
Beliefs lead to habits. Habits lead to outcomes.
The idea that things will never get better is a lie.
We trust in Jesus Christ, the “high priest of good things to come.”
Good things are coming for you.
God is a God of miracles, and Ethan is one of them.
This time last year, Ethan was in a coma after a horrific bike accident. The future was uncertain, and there were real questions about what recovery would look like.
A year later, he is walking, running, lifting, serving, laughing, and living life to the fullest.
This week in seminary we studied David & Goliath. One of my favorite lines from the story is when David declares, “The battle is the Lord’s.”
Ethan faced a giant of his own. Through faith in Jesus Christ, priesthood blessings, countless prayers, loving family and friends, and a lot of hard work, he continues to overcome it every day.
And as a fun coincidence… his middle name is David.

I went to In-N-Out and ordered a cheeseburger. The cashier, a calm young woman named Destiny, asked me a question I did not expect.
"You want that Animal Style?"
I paused.
I did not know what this meant. But a samurai does not admit he does not know. So I answered with weight.
"...Animal Style."
"Cool. So that's mustard-grilled, extra spread, grilled onions, pickles. Yeah?"
I understood now. This was a sacred permission. For one meal, I was being told to put down my manners at the door. To eat the way a beast eats, without shame. I had waited my whole life for someone to give me this order.
"Yes," I said. "I will become the animal."
Destiny did not blink. "...Okay. You want your fries Animal Style too?"
I stopped. Even the potatoes?
"The potatoes also become animals?"
"I mean, they get cheese and sauce and grilled onions, so..."
"Then yes. Let the potatoes abandon their restraint as well."
"...Got it." She was the calmest woman I have ever met. "3x3, 4x4, or just the one?"
I did not know these numbers, but I knew a challenge when I heard one. "How many must I face?"
"It's, like, how many patties you want."
"How many is the most honorable?"
"...Four is a lot."
"Then four. A warrior does not ask for fewer."
She wrote it down without argument. A 4x4, Animal Style, with animal fries. She warned me once, kindly. "That's gonna be huge." I told her I was counting on it.
It arrived. It was a tower. Cheese and sauce ran down my hands the moment I lifted it. There was no clean way to eat it. There was no dignified way. That was the entire point.
I ate it like a beast. Both hands, no honor, grilled onion on my chin, and I have to be honest with you, it was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth.
For thirty years I have kept my manners at every table in the world.
They handed me a burger and told me to be an animal, and I have never felt so free.
So tell me, America.
The whole country knows the secret menu. What else are you hiding in plain sight?
And "Animal Style." Was I eating the animal, or finally becoming one?
California gets a bad rap, and a lot of it is earned thanks to the dumpster fire policies ruining our cities. But man, this state is still one of the most beautiful places on God’s green earth.
I’ve lived here since 1993. The weather is straight-up perfect. I can ski in the morning and hit the beach in the afternoon. The mountains, the coastline, the redwoods, the desert… it’s all here in one state. Big Sur, the Pacific Coast Highway, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and vineyards everywhere!
History you can feel in the air. Beaches with that classic surfer vibe. Family happy, church strong, friends that feel like brothers.
Yeah, the politics are a textbook case of what happens when one party runs things into the ground. And, that’s why I support @SteveHilton for Governor. I’m ready for the Golden California to return.
What’s your favorite spot in California? Drop it below. These are mine.❤️

“Why do you need an AR-15?”
Ask the police.
Because they have them.
They have the rifles.
They have the 30-round magazines.
They have the gear politicians keep saying is too dangerous for you.
And nobody asks them why they need it.
Why?
Because the answer is obvious:
They carry it to confront violent people.
But here’s the part everyone skips…
Who meets that violent person first?
You do.
The cop shows up after the threat starts.
You’re the one already there.
No badge.
No backup.
No radio.
No team.
And the Supreme Court has already said police do not have a constitutional duty to protect you as an individual.
So if the state keeps these tools for the people who arrive second…
Why does it want to take them from the person who has to survive first?
That’s the question.
Drop your answer below — and send this to the person who still asks, “Why do you need that?”
For those worried the church will change the Family Proclamation, @OaksDallinH lays down yet another anchor.
“When Jesus was on the earth, He taught the full doctrine of Heavenly Father’s plan for the eternal progress of His children. Some truths were lost in the Apostasy or diluted by mortal philosophies, so a restoration was needed, President Oaks taught. One of those fundamental points of doctrine was exaltation in the celestial kingdom through eternal marriage between a man and a woman.”
“There are many political, legal and social pressures for changes that would change the definition of marriage or de-emphasize its importance, confuse gender, or homogenize the differences between men and women that are essential for us to accomplish God’s great Plan of Happiness,” he said. “Our eternal perspective sets us against such changes. We believe that we must contend for the kind of families that provide the best conditions for the development and happiness of children — all of God’s children.”

Muslims kidnapped the entire village of Baltimore, Ireland, and took every man, woman, child and baby to Algiers to be sold as slaves.
The men were put to work and castrated, the women were used as rape slaves.
Today, the beautiful doors of the Salt Lake Temple were installed. This temple and the temples around the world are meaningful to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because when we enter through these doors, we enter the house of the Lord. There is no place on earth in which we are closer to Him.
There is something profoundly symbolic about stepping into the Lord’s holy house. In doing so, we leave behind the noise and burdens of a troubled world and enter a place of peace, light, and divine love. Within the holy walls of the temple, we make promises that connect us to our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
As we leave the temple, we walk through these doors strengthened and renewed. We feel a sense of purpose and gratitude. And we carry with us a deeper sense of God’s love for us.
The joyful sacredness and importance of the temple can be taught to and felt by the youngest of God’s children. Holiness to the Lord is not just a text on the outside of the temple, it is a condition of life promised by Heavenly Father that can be felt anywhere, at any time.

It is important that when you vacation with your family that you take your kids to church
This way they can see that there are good people all over the world in every community
They may be strangers to us, but they are brothers and sisters in the gospel of Jesus Christ
Happy Father’s Day to the men stepping up every single day to fulfill the role God called you to. You are crucial in so many ways. Never forget that.
As Elder D. Todd Christofferson taught “The key for children is to have fathers. The key for society is to create fathers.’
Fathers matter eternally. Grateful for all the good dads out there making a difference.
Imagine being stuck 800 feet underwater, thousands of miles from land, and your appendix bursts. If you think a Navy helicopter is going to drop a surgeon down to save you, think again. On a US Navy submarine, there are no doctors.
Instead, the entire crew’s survival rests on the shoulders of one single person: a senior medic affectionately called "Doc."
Officially, their title is Independent Duty Corpsman (IDC), but to the crew, they are the most respected person on the boat. To get this job, these sailors have to survive one of the most brutal and intense medical training pipelines in the entire military. The Navy basically crams years of medical school, trauma care, and pharmacology into a grueling, fast-paced course designed to turn them into a one-man emergency room.
Once the submarine dives, Doc is completely on their own. There is no nurse to help, no pharmacist to check dosages, and no surgeon looking over their shoulder. They have to do it all. On any given day, Doc is diagnosing weird rashes, treating infections, stitching up deep cuts, and acting as the boat’s dentist by pulling teeth or filling cavities.
But it gets even crazier. Because they are living on a floating nuclear reactor, Doc is also responsible for the ship’s radiation health. They constantly monitor the sub's air quality, water supply, and oxygen levels to make sure the environment isn't slowly killing the crew.
If a true, life-or-death medical nightmare happens in the middle of a deployment, Doc’s job is to stabilize the patient. They have a direct radio line to actual Navy doctors back on land who can talk them through a crisis, but when the pressure is on, it’s Doc's hands holding the scalpel. If things are too severe, the Captain will abort the mission and surface the boat for a medical evacuation, but until that hatch opens, Doc is the only line of defense.
They don't wear officer bars, and they don't have a medical degree, but every submariner knows that if things go sideways in the deep, Doc is the only person who can bring them home alive.
