Dear @MDofUEDCL,

You have failed Ugandans, and it is time somebody said it plainly. Since you took over distribution from Umeme, the promises of cheaper, more reliable power have amounted to nothing. Power goes off without warning and without a word of explanation, the same faults keep returning, and your people on the ground are rude to the very customers paying their salaries.

Manufacturers say voltage surges are wrecking their machinery and halting production. Kawempe Referral Hospital has raised alarm that your outages threaten the oxygen supply to newborns in incubators. Someone in Rukungiri counted power going off nearly fifty times in a single day. Parliament itself has had to summon you to explain all this.

And yet you have these social media accounts and stay silent. Start communicating with the public. Tell us what is wrong and when it will be fixed. If the work is too much and talking to the people who fund you is asking for too much, then resign, and make way for those who can actually do the job. Ugandans are exhausted.
