Your job is important but, so are your workouts, your lunch breaks, vacation days, hobbies, the people waiting for you when you get home.
Works pays for your life. It isn't supposed to replace it.
skip the diatribe and say the quiet part out loud already: you hate women.
“pick better men” she did. she broke up with the man - who later STALKED HER AND KILLED HER SON - over a decade ago. as a teen.
“go to the police” she did. and they didn’t take his threats seriously and freed him from prison multiple times.
men’s violence and refusal to accept rejection is the problem. not women - and certainly not women who did everything right, but you will blame them anyway; because you hate women.
Normalize not forcing your importance in someone's life. Let people do what they want so you can see what they'd rather do. If someone doesn't see the value in having you by their side, don’t try to convince them.
i immediately go silent when something upsets me. it's a coping mechanism i have developed over time. instead of expressing my anger or frustration, i simply withdraw and try to process my emotions in private. i prefer handling my problems on my own.
pls don't ever think i'll never leave 😭 when i love, i love hard and i'll stick it out as long as i can, but pls don't ever treat me like someone who will never leave bc baby i'll walk away and never look back. don't take the people who love you for granted.
I’m a communicator, if we don’t talk about it we can’t move forward. This is for any relationship I participate in (friendships & family included) …I have never been the person to sweep things under the rug I just don’t operate that way + If a conversation cannot
i love the idea of building with someone. You’re both young, not exactly where u want to be, but on the way. Then y’all can look back & see where it started & how much y’all have together now. I hate the idea of needing to have it all together before love.
I tend to go silent when something doesn’t make me feel good, upsets me or hurts me. When someone else notices the shift in my energy, they tend to ask what’s happening. Choosing silence at first isn’t a form of avoidance. Some of us need to process our emotions first
everybody thinks when you go ghost and stay to yourself you're being weird or acting funny.... i'm trying to stay alive. nobody tells you how hard life hits you. you outgrow the people you love the most, lose a lot of people who've watched you grow up, and sometimes the way (1/3)
