Talking on @BBCWomansHour the chief inspector at HMIC says the Sarah Everard case is ‘not a one off’ & that it has struck a ‘hammer blow’ to policing. She says forces don’t have effective means to prevent abuses of positions, that officers aren’t being properly vetted. Damning
