#CockpitCasual the Podcast fans - sorry for the long break! @CaptBob_Nomadic and I have been on the move flying pretty much continuously for the last couple weeks. We’ll be back ASAP 🛫
Just got to Madrid - long night; an A330 delivered, tomorrow Pat & I head to the UAE to pick up an A320 bound for the UK. Double-header. The N Atlantic sunrise (moonrise) from down low at FL270 is always a treat…
Dear @SkySportsF1 . Next year can you send @MBrundleF1 up to the 'cheap tickets' fans on the hill at the #MonacoGP ? For sure you'll find much more entertaining human beings than these awful, self centred 'celebrities'.
Cadillac Team Principal Graeme Lowdon speaking on the rumours that Valtteri Bottas seat was under threat:
“I’ll make it really, really clear: factually, they’re completely incorrect. There’s no basis of truth whatsoever in any of them.
"A few that I’ve read just don’t even seem to take into account some of the absolute basic rules of Formula 1, because some of them suggest they would put Colton in to replace Valtteri in the next few races, or whatever.
“Colton doesn’t have the super license points, and to some extent, that probably says it all about the quality of some of the rumours, but I prefer not to focus on pointing out the obvious. I think the fans can see through all of that."

No less than 30 comments on the latest Spirit video requested a special limited edition Nomadic T-shirt commemorating this wild project. Yeah? Or nah??
@MrT Happy Birthday Mr T!! I hope you have had the most wonderful day!! Best wishes to you! You are an absolute living legend and always will be!! Kindest regards to you!!🎉🎂🎁🎊😎
Hey - @CaptBob_Nomadic and I are WAY too busy to record the pod this week 🤯but we’ll be back next week. I’m working on something with the Spirit footage too.
OMD211 - shockingly I believe this is the first time I’ve ever operated a flight out of my home airport of PHL in nearly 30 years of flying

@SteveNomadic Hopefully you can make this into a Cockpit Casual episode @SteveNomadic and @CaptBob_Nomadic perhaps with a title of Team Spirit or something along those lines?!! Would love to see how all the planning and other logistics work to get these ex Spirit birds back to their Lessors.
In the game of life, Alex Zanardi left nothing in the tank. I remember when he asked me to write the foreword for his book. I asked him anything you want me to say? He said: Well, I need to order new legs- how tall do you think I should be?
So sad about the news of Alex Zanardi. He was a hero of mine from his star times when I was commentating on CART in USA, then his recovery from the hideous crash in Germany, and his incredible abilities with Touring Cars and on handcycles. A remarkable and engaging racer.
Nobody should be replacing Martin until he decides he’s had enough. I’ve listen to Martin in comms since I started in the sport and love his knowledge, insights and work ethic.
As much as I enjoy jumping in the comms box when Martin is taking a well deserved break I wouldn’t want to do anymore as I’ve got enough going on!
Utter clickbait nonsense Margaret, don’t be concerned. I’ve done 16 races per year for a good while now and continue to do so. In fact with the cancellations I am at 15 of the remaining 19 races this season, subject to world events of course, as always.
