I am not sure what was the idea behind doing a complete show on Media (ARY) to discuss as well as explain the personal equipment, weapons, first aid/rations on person by SSG soldiers during their sensitive operations.
And if that’s not enough they ask what is the preferred time by SSG teams to conduct their ops !!
I mean really .. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Surprised, the judge said:

Omar al-Mukhtar replied:

— On the contrary! This is the most beautiful way for my life to end.

The judge then offered to acquit him and send him into exile if he wrote a declaration ordering the resistance fighters to end their struggle. Omar al-Mukhtar responded with his famous words:

“These fingers, which testify in every prayer that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His Messenger, can never write anything false! We do not surrender: we either win or die. Even if we die, we win, while you lose. The bitter truth is that you will understand this only when you die—and by then, it will be of no use to you!”

“A Mother and the 1965 War”
My salute to all mothers who raised sons of Pakistan. 🫡🇵🇰

When the 1965 war broke out, my father and two of his cousins were deployed as Infantry officers in the same sector : Chhamb–Sialkot.

My father, Major Raja Javed, was serving with 6 FF and was the Company Commander of then Lieutenant Shabbir Sharif NH.

My father-in-law, then Lieutenant Gulraiz Akhter, was serving with 9 FF, and his elder brother, then-Captain Pervaiz Akhter, of 3 FF.

So there they were …three cousins, all on the ground, in the same sector.

And if that wasn’t enough, my mother’s elder brother, then Flight Lieutenant Aftab Raja, was a GDP pilot flying overhead in close support in that very same sector.

But that isn’t what my story is about….

My story is about my father-in-law’s mother.
We called her Maami Jee.
They lived in Gujrat city and every few days, Maami Jee would cook enough food for five, six, sometimes eight people. She would then ask her husband, a retired Major, to drive her to the Gujrat–Sialkot road.

There, she would stop military convoys and hand over the packed, home cooked food, asking the soldiers to somehow get it to her sons.
Those were different times, we are told. Military vehicles were used to such stops & requests.,
The rest of the family though, would tease her:
“Jung lagi hui hai… yeh khana tumhare beton tak kaise pohanchega ? Koi aur hi kha jayega.”

Maami Jee would simply smile and say:

“Mere toh saare hi bete hain… kisi aur wardi walay ne kha liya toh main samjhungi mere beton ne kha liya.”

That line has stayed with me all my life.
Because that is what mothers do.
They don’t stop loving their children because a war has begun.

It is always the mothers.
They are the quiet strength behind the sons who stand on the frontlines.
No Nation, No Army can ever be strong without the Mothers.
They are the backbone of every nation.🇵🇰

انہوں نے مثال دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ مسلح افواج کے ڈاکٹر نجی کلینکس نہیں چلاتےاسی لیے ان کے طبی اداروں کا معیار بلند ہے اور عوام کو ان اداروں کے حوالے سے شکایات بھی بہت کم سننے کو ملتی ہیں۔۔۔

This Video is from Pakistan. I Generally don't share or endorse Pakistani Videos, but this is an Exception.

A man in Pakistan approaches various people & hands them a lighter. Later, he gives them an Indian flag, asks them to burn it, and promises a cash reward in return. Later, He insists n offers double, triple amount, in return.

The video becomes interesting when no one accepts his offer, not even for the Money & chose to walk away.
