@GangsterCinema 1995 was the last great year for cinema. I saw this in the theater opening weekend and always wondered about this shot. It was “shot all on location” so I thought that it couldn’t be green screen. Looks like it was both. Beautiful and iconic scene.
@TheAlexSylvian That shot was filmed in this alley right behind The Liberty Theater. Someone I knew at school went down to this shoot to get Rutger Hauer’s autograph on his copy of Ladyhawke. He said Rutger had the biggest hands he ever saw 😆
@dollardoughnut@For_Film_Fans Thank you to you all for answering my London archaeology questions. I’ve only been to London once in 1990 but I’m obsessed with the lost architecture. I’ll never understand why they tore so many structures down that they didn’t need to. It’s baffling to me. Especially this one.
