@MrJasonDodson @Jmcraighead91 I don’t do a lot of social media because I think some privacy is good for the soul, but I do love Twitter because I can follow some wonderful and smart education professionals! I heard your training was great today. (hated to miss it but it was Reid’s birthday)
This is my sweet Lila officially becoming a bee keeper today! She became very interested in bees after our Read to Ready Summer Camp and jumped at an opportunity through 4-H to get some help starting her hives. We hope to have “Boo’s Bees” selling honey by next year.
Please share this video of one of my brilliant and brave former students. Camden is one special kid and wants nothing more than to help Type 1 Diabetics just like him. We need your help!

When your 88 year old janitor, Papa Cecil, takes your life cycles unit very seriously and you end up with chickens in the workroom. The chickens were chirping in their eggs and the kids were so excited!
Our kindergarten has been working in an interesting Native American unit and had the best visitors to their classes today. Theses wonderful men did demonstrations and answered all kinds of very inquisitive kindergarten questions. Next post will be writing from this unit!
When you want to know how to grow a garden, you go visit your almost 88 year old janitor, Papa Cecil, and see all his hard work. The kids loved seeing the garden in person and I think Papa was just as happy to have them visit. #R2BR
This is how teachers measure a successful R2BR summer camp trip!! 😴We had the best time yesterday at the Livingston Public Library and park. Today we acted out a reader’s theater about bees🐝.
A good teacher is like a candle - it will consume itself to light the way for other. This is sure true for our Mrs. Emma. Thanks to her and her wonderful team my Reid has had a great kindergarten year.

14-year-old @sophielinder_ and teammate @Karoline_Golfer opened with a 3-under, 69 in the @USGA#USWFourBall today.
The duo give a few thoughts on their day heading into Sunday’s final round of stroke play.
@ucbj This was a great opportunity for me to see those speaking and listening skills in action. Though they should have taken a picture of Mrs. Cristi Beasley and Mrs. Jayne Donaldson who helped make this happen for our students. This was learning for our students as well as myself.
