@ITVX getting so bored with this. Return to start or live so missing out on acts and wasting time. Twice tonight so show took 2.5 hours to watch 👎🏻 no we’re not signing up to pay just to watch as a normal person (not really worth it)
🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Epstein survivors just announced they will release their own list of names.
“We know who abused us. We saw who came and went. This list will be survivor-led-for survivors.”
Let’s make this go viral ☝️
I just exercised my right as a Member of Congress to conduct an unannounced oversight visit of the ICE field facility in Baltimore. The staff I met with respected my right to visit, but what I saw was disgraceful. Kristi Noem has a budget of $75 billion she could use to ensure humane conditions, but we saw 60 men packed into a room shoulder-to-shoulder, 24-hours-a-day, with a single toilet in the room and no shower facilities. They sleep like sardines with aluminum foil blankets. Whether it’s for three days or seven days, nobody would want a member of their family warehoused there. The room set aside for dangerous criminals and violent offenders was empty. We’re demanding immediate answers and action.
@OmniplexUK How do I complain about Omniplex Ipswich? Had absolutely terrible customer service there on Saturday and ended up missing first 25 mins of @wuthering_hts 😡
@Shirliekemp you must be sooo proud of @harleymoonkemp and @romankemp what a beautiful pair of siblings and with so much empathy and understanding 💜 they’re a real credit to you both x
@waitrose LOVE your #ChristmasAd but you’ve missed a trick not giving an alternative #vegan pie recipe for your loyal vegan customers ⛄️ https://t.co/GHisQYa6ry
@Tesco please ensure your staff are checking dates on food in your stores (Tesco Express, St Mathew St, Ipswich) it’s not the first time my son has bought old stock out of date by a month!! 🤢
I just called on the UK government to scrap anti-protest laws which attack our hard won democratic freedoms. Please can you defend the right to protest too by signing the petition? https://t.co/JqY2oG9nCp
In 3 years 472 pupils left "before the scheduled end of their time at the school." 28% had SEND; 39% had no alternative school to go to. All this is bad enough but I really hope it's not true staff were expected to issue 25 detentions each, every week. https://t.co/gSVWqkmfBC
Out today. Why schools don't work for far too many children - and what should we be doing about it! My conversation with Amal Rajan! Available from @BBCSounds now.
“What we are doing now does not work!”
Steve Chalke, founder of the UK’s first secure school, talks about youth violence and rehabilitating young offenders on Radical with @amolrajan.
Listen on @BBCSounds
For too many children school is a miserable experience. Why? Because we’ve still not learned that if the child doesn’t learn the way we teach, we need to start teaching the way they learn.
