It is probably my bias from mentoring students in the 18-25 demographic over 4 years kicking in.

So I feel like I probably need to try and mentor someone in my target audience in person first. Let's see if I am any good.

I think my AI career mentor asks questions that an Indian teenager does not have answers to.

The mentor asks "What do people come to you for?" and a lot of students just could not answer the question.

@ganeshsonawane It is also the decision maker. Most people buy curtains when they are renovating, curtains are selected by the interior designer who obviously chooses expensive curtains. My family runs a curtain store and most of our business comes from interior designers.

The console gaming space was never ready for the kind of expectations that VCs and big corporations have with their acquisitions. As @TheCartelDel has always been saying, this medium is not scalable like normal consumer apps are

@monali_dambre My family owns a curtain store. The price is normally determined by the interior designer you are working with more than anything. If the interior designer is premium they won't even look at curtains below 1.5 lakhs for a room

@MajoSayo Got it but I am actually looking for something that does the opposite. Tell me which jobs are worth applying to, I am currently using an LLM but think Jev might be better at it

@Narayani07 Have been going through the same. Multiple times, I have been told the round is technical but ends up being completely different. One company straight up told me they scheduled the wrong interviews with the wrong people.

@kmr_dilip Been through this at an early stage startup and I 100% agree. Finding such a founder is genuinely hard and I count myself lucky to have worked under one. Also, finding employees who are willing to do whatever is needed instead of saying that's not my job is equally difficult.

Tomorrow is Rakhi. I'll be surrounded by cousins who are exactly 15, 16, 17.

For the last week, I've been testing the career mentor async. Sending students a link, watching the chats, seeing what it recommends.

A few of them started telling me how I should monetise this. Genuinely did not see that coming.

Tomorrow the same thing gets used in a room full of parents and rishtedaars, and I'm finally excited for people to try it in front of each other. Going to get a few of them to use it with their parents standing right there and see what both sides make of it.

Lots of job application agents in the market right now. Curious to know which ones are actually working and has anyone actually found a job through them 🤔. The resume tailoring, etc is still pretty low quality
