@dtaspire@JFPuget@_mohansolo He was just pointing out the obvious to varun who was acting oblivious. Windsurf got acquired by a model provider. This easily gives them enough data to improve their own models. It would be stupid on anthropic’s part to not cut off access.

The tactic is they’d be able to siphon users by building a predictor of when a user would switch to Gemini responses
And then rapidly improve OpenAI responses until the switch rate trends to 0
Stop assuming OpenAI aren’t nefarious
