Just learned the best @SlackHQ tip! If you have a pesky notification that won't go away, press Shift and Esc. It will give you the option to mark everything as read, and gloriously stop pretending there are unread messages.
@noahkagan Depends on your product/service, the expected LTV of each customer, and your CAC. There is no right answer, since so many factors influence the biz model.
Writes @CloeyCallahan "ADUs blend the convenience of remote-friendly spaces with the ability to physically โleave the officeโ at the end of the workday โ except now the commute is only a few steps across your backyard." Fun article on a growing trend. https://t.co/0CpFQdimZQ
This is an excellent piece from @CloeyCallahan. Years ago I was guilty of being a micromanager, and thankfully have learned better ways to guide others and manage my own anxiety. If you have a manager who hasn't gotten there yet, give this a read for actionable tips.
I wrote an in-depth guide with realistic tips on how to approach 10 different kinds of managers in the workplace. In a perfect world, these folks would have solid training, but that doesn't always happen, so here's our advice on working with them.

Love this question - @PRisUs is a great resource for #pr folks out there to follow.
My 2 cents? Always link (not attach) assets and keep those assets super organized and well labeled with company name and context. If pitching a TV station, also link b-roll if available.
Journalist friends: Would you prefer it if a PR pro sent you a pitch with a few relevant visual asset files attached - OR - a link to a Dropbox or Google Drive with the assets so you could pick & choose?
Itโs obviously awesome when a journalist says yes to a story or source. But itโs also awesome when they take the time to say no thank you - it means they value the thought you put into the pitch, even if not right for them. Take time to celebrate the no, not just the yes #pr
Sharing my latest article for @PRDaily. In this article, I share insights on how to define your career values and why it's crucial to revisit them regularly. Thanks @AllisonLCarter for the opportunity to contribute!

@Katie_Roof But also can we talk about how supportive her sorority was when she needed to get her score up? Legally Blonde is such a wonderful example of women rallying around each other and celebrating non romantic wins
@AmandaMGoetz My daughter is currently in daycare 4 days a week and it is the right balance for me -- my brain enjoys variety, and I am a more present mom during family hours when I also work. That being said, I switched from in-house to running my own biz, which allows for more flexibility.
@ThinkDesign_Ed The cost of acquiring and onboarding a new customer is much higher than finding ways to drum up more business from your existing customers. Almost always better to extend LTV and create long-term business!
