You yourself are thought,
A product of mind.
A mesh jumble of emotions at the back of your mind.
A strong memory.
The self doesn't have the device of thought, just as mind can't produce blood. The self has no such ability of introspection. It is just alive and burning.
I am not the I, not this body. I don't identify with this ego. Though I live through its lens...I know I am the silent source of awareness the soul inside...that will leave this mud body and rebirth in another one to live this life again and again tiredly...
Where are you in deep sleep....What you call yourself 'I' ..if that's you, how come you forget that 'I' in your sleep...instead something else in awake that something is the real you.

@ProfVemsani Why do we even need the validation of our own god's existence from others?...Shiva has existed since time immemorial and will exist even after the end of time....
@svembu We are worshipping the soul which is present in every possible beings and things. And when we worship one form we are actually praying to the soul inside that form...which is the same soul(god) inside everyone of us.....Our own bodies are also temple inside which god.soul resides

During meditation, you must focus on your breathe in spite of the mind chatter. You can do so because you exist even without the thoughts and mind.. This very existence without any support is the ultimate truth as described by Krishna
“Krishna Nee Begane Baro”
“O Krishna, please come hither soon!”
Shri Vyasatirtha passionate plea to Lord Krishna, adorned with his signature divine ornaments and flute, to appear and bless the devotees with his presence and the vision of the entire universe within his mouth
