A statement like this may get laughs, but it undermines the very values Christianity teaches.Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching. If our faith doesn’t influence how we handle someone else’s money, then what exactly is it influencing?
As we angrily mourn the gruesome murder of Sydney, this story of an innocent 21yr old young man Timothy Ssemugenyi who was killed in a very similar manner in 2021 touched me so much but unlike in Sydney's case where @PoliceUg seems to be doing everything to arrest the murderers, the killers of Timothy were arrested and later released by Kabalagala Police after money exchanged hands.
This footage by @ntvuganda reveals how the parents of the poor boy were bitter for not getting justice to the extent that Police extorted money from them to secure the CCTV footage, such is our country!
The @PoliceUg should tell us how they ended the investigations into the murder of Timothy Ssemugenyi which seemed to have been a well planned motive 5yrs down the road even when the murders were known, arrested and released.😢

You can see the conundrum that our people, in prison on the orders of military courts, find themselves in! The defunct military court was clearly stripped of jurisdiction over them by the Supreme Court ruling. The newly constituted military court has no jurisdiction over them because the law doesn't act retrospectively. The High Court says they have no jurisdiction, even to grant bail, because the files aren't legally before them. Now, the DPP says he has no authority over the said cases until they're brought before him. Beneath these legal gymnastics are human beings - Ugandan citizens - whose lives are paused by the arbitrary detention without trial. Deprived of livelihoods for years. The injustice!

When our MPs travel abroad, they receive $1,000 for meals and $2,500 for accommodation every single day. That is nearly 13 million shillings a night to live like royalty in foreign capitals.
Yet, when they go to Kyankwanzi, they make sure you see the "folded mattress" under the bed. They want you to see them sleeping on the floor, mimicking the life of a housegirl or a citizen sleeping on a sofa.
But don't be fooled by the stage play. As soon as the retreat ends, the "humility" evaporates. They climb back into their V8 and TX fuel guzzlers, cruising in the fast lane of luxury that your taxes paid for.
They aren't living like the poor; they are just visiting the struggle for a photo-op before returning to the high life. The mattresses are folded, but the greed is wide open.
@DailyMonitor A 2 year old went to daycare yesterday. A place her parents chose carefully because they wanted her safe, stimulated & looked after while they worked to build her a future. She did not come home. Some evils are too deliberate to explain & too heavy to carry lightly. Rest, Keisha.
@DailyMonitor You get up early in the morning to prepare your child for school drop them off, and head to work to hustle hard for them to have Atleast a good life and may be a bright future, and while you are at it. You are hit with this... and they are gone forever. Whats life? #RIP

@GalaxyTVUg What exactly happened, I know namwangwe must have not like student adults abekuzakuza they must have made it had for him reasoning with him
This country is a dangerous lawless dump now. There’s no repercussions for criminals, police spend time policing social media not theft, violence or murder... We have highly protected criminals roaming freely in the country. It’s getting unsafe at an alarming rate. But whose fault is it that Uganda has become this dangerous? We know that we spend alot on defence and security. President Museveni sells security as his biggest success but it’s not secure out there.
Hon, consistency strengthens credibility. Your vigorous support for the former CEO is well remembered, so your sudden enthusiasm for the interim leadership raises fair questions.
Uganda deserves leaders who champion competence and institutional stability. Not people pleasers!
Our esteemed President @KagutaMuseveni's Government immediate tasks and priorities to appointed interim Top Airlines acting CEO Mr Girma Wake are clear: cutting excessive running costs, accountability, professionalizing our workforce, strengthening efficiency and transparency, and stabilizing our national carrier for long-term sustainability.
I thank H.E. @KagutaMuseveni for entrusting an experienced aviation administrator with this critical transition and setting the pace for the incoming substantive CEO.
Yesterday, I shared a video of a young man who had reached a breaking point in his life. Instead of making a tragic decision, this man — whom I know as Kasule Paul — chose to courageously speak out. In the video, he explained the challenges he was facing after his merchandise was stolen, leaving him uncertain about how he would return home to his young family — his wife, who had just undergone surgery, and their baby — and explain what had happened.
I posted a message on Facebook asking for help in locating him, and I am grateful that we were able to connect. We have since spoken, and he has shared the kind of support he needs during this difficult time.
I kindly ask for your compassion and support as we come together to assist him. Thank you.
WATCH: Masaka District Health Officer, Dr Faith Nakiyimba, warns of rising cases of teenage abortions that have alarmed the district authorities. Speaking at an engagement with the Health Journalist Network Uganda in Masaka, she revealed that 91 abortion cases were recorded in the district in 2025, with more than half occurring among adolescents aged 15–19. Dr Nakiyimba linked the increase in unintended pregnancies and subsequent abortions to sexual and gender-based violence in the district.

Public office is not a trial run. If failures under Bamuturaki’s leadership harmed taxpayers, then proper scrutiny must follow her exit. Real governance is about systems of accountability, not symbolic removals. #ugairlines
Appreciation to @JoelSsenyonyi for insisting on accountability when it was unpopular. This moment isn’t about victory laps. it’s proof that oversight, evidence, and institutions can still correct course. Public office is stewardship, not entitlement. #ugairlines
Respectfully, when an outcome is already expected by the public, calling it a prophecy weakens the meaning of prophecy itself. Nothing new was revealed here.
INTERNATIONAL PROPHECY FULFILLED
UGANDA: Incumbent President Yoweri Museveni declared winner of the 2026 Presidential Elections exactly as prophesied by The Ra’ah, Prophet Uebert Angel!
