In Mohali, a major health crisis is happening every single night. Toxic smoke from a nearby dumping ground is spreading across the area, and the sectors closest to the site are suffering the worst.

The most affected sectors are: Sector 74, 74A, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 91, 92, 93, and 94.
Every night, the smoke enters our homes. Throats burn, eyes sting, and breathing becomes a struggle. Children, elders, and everyone are suffering. This is happening daily. People cannot walk, exercise, or even step outside safely.

If this continues, it will trigger severe long-term illnesses and eventually, deaths. This is not an inconvenience. This is a public health emergency.

We have filed multiple complaints with MC. We even raised this in the newspapers. Still, no department has taken action. Authorities are ignoring a clear health disaster. This is playing with people’s health and treating their lives like a joke.

We need urgent and serious intervention before this becomes irreversible.
