@pray4goodpulls I had Charizard ex from this set worth $200 at the time. Some guy wanted to trade for this mew which was running around $100. I told him hell no. Crazy looking back lol
@SnowyStarbird@JessePrker I unironically just watch YouTube and slowplay the moment I got wall'd by things just so that the person playing the wall deck cant ruin as many people's games lol
@CatholicHSTeach @taste_of_tbone Former HS teacher here. Classes can be the entire building away from each other not allowing use of restrooms during class switching. Going during lunch doesn't really matter if they need to use the restroom three hours before or after lunch. I feel bad for your students.
@SupahGassy I never said both are equally as skillful. That's entirely subjective unfortunately. However yes, there are pros on both sides of the open list debate.
@SupahGassy Some decks can build boards to deal with it earlier when they know its going to come up. In those scenarios the tech is both good and the suprise makes it better. Both can be true.
@SupahGassy I can agree that killing the surprise factor doesnt entirely kill tech cards but with the way cornerstone was used in some surprise decks, I think it did win some games because it was a surprise. Also, I could care less about the adherence to authority logical fallacy.
@ZanderBennett Deck lists do not determine the winner either and everyone can agree that some things just arent practical. The argument for Bo3 could also be applied to Bo30 or Bo300. There is a line and the right decision is somewhere in the middle, not in the extremities of the argument.
@ZanderBennett Bo3 doesnt remove variance, it lessens it. Card games have inherent variance to begin with so if removal of variance is your desire, there are plenty of activities much better. There is a balance that the game needs. Removal of variance entirely is to a card game's detriment.
@ThatGuyDavo@TheeHybridHero A quote made famous by a man that kings throughout time have studied on how to lead nations holds no candle to your intellect. You have shown me this.
@ThatGuyDavo@TheeHybridHero It does not matter if you disagree. Experts define the activity as bullying because it is. The only reason you even care as much as to disagree is because you want to be able to partake in the bullying without feeling like you have done anything wrong. You have some growing to do
@ThatGuyDavo@TheeHybridHero This is bullying. It is also worth noting that the OP has a large following. Posts like this oftentimes become a call to arms. Simply look at the other comments. I am simply agreeing with experts here. If you disagree, it is because YOU don't see this bullying as a big deal.
@ThatGuyDavo@TheeHybridHero Ahh yes, if the person you are gathering in some shitty clique to shit talk isnt around, it isnt bullying.
